Who We Are

As the non-profit counterpart to Guardian Angel Hospice, we serve thirty counties in North Central Indiana.  We are here to educate and support individuals and families regarding end of life issues, grief and bereavement.  At some point, these issues will impact each of us without regard to age, religion, sex or social standing.  Guardian Angel Foundation is here to help all people in the communities we serve prepare for and navigate the grief journey.

When faced with a life-limiting illness, the care and support of your loved one is sure to be one of your primary concerns.  Hospice is about comfort which comes in various forms.  To some it means being able to do something "one more time", to others it means knowing your family will be OK.  Guardian Angel Foundation offers comfort in many ways, sometimes by assisting with travel expenses so that loved ones may be near in the time of need, or by helping with a utility bill, or other personal matter.

Guardian Angel Foundation provides support to grieving families by offering bereavement programs such as The BRIDGe and Camp Angel at no charge to the participants.  Camp Angel Day Camps and Teen Retreat are a series of bereavement camps specifically designed to help young people navigate the grieving  process following the death of a loved one.  The BRIDGe program supports grieving families by encouraging the family as a unit.  Families meet with other grieving families for age appropriate discussions and activities relating to their grief journey both as an individual and as a family.
