Our Philosophy

We believe hospice affirms life. The program exists to provide support and care for each person in the last phase of an incurable disease so that he or she may live as fully and comfortably as possible. We recognize dying as a normal process. Death is neither hastened nor postponed. Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care and the promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and families may be free to a attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for for death, making its coming more comfortable for them.

· We believe that our core values of excellence, integrity, commitment, teamwork and community form the foundation and cornerstone of our organization. They are the guiding forces of every action and decision that is made.

· We believe that educating the public regarding end-of-life issues empowers the community to deeply care about these issues, thereby, supporting and encouraging the use of hospice for superior end-of-life care.

· We believe success is measured by the relationships with those served, our patients, families, vendors, staff, volunteers and community. It is our duty to maintain these relationships.
